Hawks CAFE believes that the private equity investors in Power Corp's life-insurance affiliates, AXA and Great West Life, are using murder for hire networks to extort pension funds of first responders, including the 342 FDNY firefighters ambushed and killed on
9/11/01 and the four Mayerthorpe RCMP officers ambushed and killed on 3/3/05.

Two Alberta men have just been charged with first-degree murder in what now appears to be contract hits on the Mayerthorpe RCMP.

We suspect Great-West Life kicked back profits from Mayerthorpe victims' life insurance policies into RCMP senior officers' pension funds and Groupe AXA kicked back profits from the firefighter victims' life insurance policies into the FDNY senior officers pension fund, both payments being 'blood-and-hush' money invested by Power Corp. insiders.

The alleged Power Corp kickbacks of victim life-insurance funds seem to have worked.

The FDNY senior officers have so far failed to investigate the use of 'high-rise' cluster bombs to ambush and kill 342 firefighters on 9/11 and vaporize evidence of murder.

The RCMP officers failed to investigate the use of the Canadian gun registry to get weapons to the ex-con who ambushed and killed their colleagues at Maplethorpe.     

We suggest the new RCMP commissioner William Elliott will ensure Power Corp's alleged life insurance payments into the RCMP pension fund, remains a sound investment.

Dennis Keegan Rodney Cheeseman, 23, and Shawn William Hennesey, 28, both from Barrhead, were each charged with four counts of first-degree murder .. accused of being a party to the offence for aiding and abetting gunman James Roszko, who ambushed the four RCMP officers on March 3, 2005 ... Cheeseman and Hennesey, who are brothers-in-law and lived together at the time of the killings, were known to police and were well acquainted with Roszko .. "They were associates over an extended period of time" .. "9.34 The RCMP paid for the same work twice. The Director of the National Compensation Policy Centre (NCPC) instructed the insurance carrier, Great-West Life, [100% owned by Power Corporation of Canada] to begin preparing for outsourcing the administration of the RCMP employee insurance plans. This preparatory work was performed by Great-West Life without a contract—contrary to contracting regulations. After working on the project for several months, the RCMP requirements changed and Great-West Life determined that it could not provide all the required services within the specified delivery date. It was persuaded to act as a go-between for payments to another firm, Morneau Sobeco, which took on the job of administering the insurance plans for the RCMP. The RCMP then paid Morneau Sobeco for the firm's own requirements definition phase of the contract, indicating that the contractor started again from the very beginning. RCMP officials could not identify any tangible service performed by Great-West Life. Great-West Life believes that it helped to define requirements for future outsourcing work. "But the connections [to Power Corp and UN Oil-for-Food scam] don't end there. Ted Johnson, the Power vice-president, is a former assistant to Trudeau. Paul Desmarais Sr. has long been a mentor of former prime minister Brian Mulroney. Don Mazankowski, a former Mulroney cabinet minister, sits on Power Corp.'s board. Bill Davis, former premier of Ontario, is on Power Corp.'s international advisory council. Daniel Johnson Jr., Quebec Liberal leader and briefly premier, worked for Power from 1973 to 1981. In fact, the political connections really don't stop at all. You could spend days trying to trace the connections that Paul Desmarais Sr. has not only with Canadian politicians, but in nearly every western capital in the world. Not bad for a guy from Sudbury, Ont., who started out fixing buses to save a nearly bankrupt transport company, inherited from his father. Desmarais's friends have joked that he "collects politicians."
