Our research indicates that in 1965, three years prior to Strong's launch of CIDA, the U.S. 173rd Airborne Brigade was ambushed in Vietnam after francophone agents acting for Strong had provided intelligence to the Viet Cong on American troop deployments.

In October 1993, Maurice Strong and CIDA agents appear to have procured snuff film footage used in the storyline of the movie 'Black Hawk Down' or newscasts to humilate America after"Task Force Ranger ..  assault force of Army Delta Force, 4 US Navy SEALs, and Ranger teams, an air element provided by the160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment" was ambushed in Mogadishu and 18 American soldiers murdered.
