Dear Representative Hunter:
Re: Terminator carbon for a bottom-fed pension fund

Hawks CAFE believes 'Terminator' Schwarzenegger's California state pension fund will be 'bottom fed' by re-insurance fraud after arsonists manipulate perceived risks of carbon use under a Western Climate Initiative and blamed their fires on global warming.
"The Western Climate Initiative is a collaboration launched in February 2007 between the Governors of ArizonaCalifornia [Terminator]New Mexico,Oregon and Washington to meet regional challenges raised by climate change. WCI is identifying, evaluating and implementing collective and cooperative ways to reduce greenhouse gases in the region. In April 2007, the Premier of British Columbia joined the Initiative. Other states and provinces are joining as observers. Through WCI, the partners will set an overall regional goal by August 2007 for reducing greenhouse gas emissions; by August 2008 they will also complete design of a market-based mechanism to help achieve that reduction goal." http://www.westernclimateinitiative.org/
"CalPERS .. support .. 10-point plan calls on U.S. companies, Wall Street firms and the Securities and Exchange Commission .. to provide .. comprehensive analysis and disclosure about the financial risks presented by climate change .. In December 2005, .. signatory with .. institutional investors .. over $800 billion in assets under management on letter sent to 30 largest U.S.-based insurance companies .. In July 2005, CalPERS was one of 15 signatories representing more than $550 billion in assets under management on letter sent to 43 of the country's 50 largest investor-owned greenhouse gas (GHG) emitters in the electric power/utilities industry .. requested that the [now extorted] companies report .. how future GHG limits will affect financial bottom lines and steps they are taking to reduce those financial impacts and improve their competitive positioning."

"The Terrrorism Investments of the 50 States" article below, has information on the conflicts of interest and probable frauds at these carbon-credit 'bottom-feeding' pension funds of which the Terminator's CALPers is a particularly-egregious example.

"Expert: Warming Climate Fuels Mega-Fires Scott Pelley Reports From The American West's Fire Lines On The Rising Number Of Mega-Fires .. Oct. 21, 2007 (CBS) Every year you can count on forest fires in the West like hurricanes in the East, but recently there has been an enormous change in Western fires. In truth, we've never seen anything like them in recorded history. It appears we're living in a new age of mega-fires -- forest infernos ten times bigger than the fires we're used to seeing. "As fires continue to burn, these mega-fires continue to burn, we may see ultimately a majority, maybe more than half of the forest land converting to other forest, other types of ecosystems," Swetnam says. "Wait a minute. Did you just say that there's a reasonable chance we could lose half of the forests in the West?" Pelley asks. "Yes, within some decades to a century, as warming continues, and we continue to get large scale fires," Swetnam replies. Swetnam says that this is what we have to look forward to. He estimates, in the Southwest alone, nearly two million acres of forest are gone and won't come back for centuries. The hotshots are already planning for the next fire season. In 2006, the feds spent $2 billion on fire fighting, seven times more than just ten years ago.  "You know, there are a lot of people who don't believe in climate change," Pelley remarks. "You won't find them on the fire line in the American West anymore," Tom Boatner says. "'Cause we've had climate change beat into us over the last ten or fifteen years. We know what we're seeing, and we're dealing with a period of climate, in terms of temperature and humidity and drought that's different than anything people have seen in our lifetimes." http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2007/10/18/60minutes/main3380176_page3.shtml
